When I was little, I wanted to be a mom, and a nurse, and a teacher….

I was adopted as an infant and instantly had three older siblings. I was an adventurous daddy’s girl who grew up on a farm in a small town in Colorado. My dad showed me what entrepreneurship was, how to take care of the less fortunate, hard work ethic, and how to laugh through life. My mom instilled in me unconditional love, how to do all the things homemaking, who God was and how He would always be there.

Strengths

Leader

As I grew, I became determined to be the leader in all that I did. Little did I know then how God would use those gifts for His Kingdom.

My oldest brother was a diabetic, and my sister was mentally challenged. I was insanely jealous of my sister since she seemed to get more attention than I did. (Probably my own imagination).

However, growing up with my sister gave me an incredibly sensitive side to people with special needs. Her gift to others was pure love.

It was during my childhood years that I experienced trauma and forever questioned my trust in others.

Junior high was typical with bullying, low self-worth, and not listening to my parents. Our family moved before 9th grade, and I felt I had a “do-over.” My leadership strengths (or control issues) were laced with an attitude to be questioned, and I was determined to do what satisfied me at no cost.

After flunking out of my first year of college, I moved around (or ran away from) the “man” of the year. By the time I was in my early 20s, I was a hot mess until I couldn’t take it anymore and turned my life over to Jesus Christ.

I believed He would never leave me nor forsake me. I believed Him when He said, “if you give up all of these things, I will replace them a hundredfold.” Mark 10:29-30

So I did. And God showed up.

God told me I would marry my husband before I met him in late 1992. He was a follower of Christ since the age of 4, and I was blown away that God would give me such a beautiful soul.
We were married 5 months later.

My hubby deserves a shout-out!

  • The man who loves me without judgment.
  • Shows me how to love like Christ.
  • Supports all my fantastical ideas.
  • Believes in me.
  • Shows our kids what it means to be a Godly husband and father.

He is my prince charming, my rock on earth. After 31 years of marriage, he is still one of the best gifts God has given me.

Favorite Bible Verses

Psalm 139:13-16

After being married for several years and becoming the director of a spa, I knew the nightmares of my past were going to be used for good….

There was still work to be done, and God was leading the way.  While my husband was finishing school and I was working full time, we were looking forward to starting a family.  I had already felt a calling to serve God in a bigger capacity, but really wanted to stay home and raise our future children.

Enter motherhood.

My first dream came true in 1999 when I became a mom. It was everything I dreamed it would be. After our second was born, I was able to stay home full-time.

In the five years that followed, my hubby started a business, we had our third baby, I started homeschooling, and I started a home business.

Not that I was looking for something else to do, but I was drawn to the idea of belonging to something bigger than myself. And with the support of my husband, who liked the idea of extra income, I jumped in.

It was exhilarating to impact the health of families and lead other women who had a shared passion.

For the next 20 years, I built a successful Network Marketing Business working from home while raising my kids, including a bonus baby in 2011.

Six Things you Didn’t Know About Me

  • At 14, I had a horse named “Gaucho”.
  • I owned a Yamaha Super Bike and once drove 130 MPH
  • My favorite food is Mexican; nothing beats a good queso
  • I love to walk barefoot in the grass
  • Giraffes are my favorite
  • Dancing is my thing

During these years, God molded and chiseled away at my lack of trust, shame-driven behavior, insecurities, and limiting beliefs. He put people in my life that have challenged my faithfulness.

In 2017, I had the opportunity to speak on stage for my company in front of 4,000 people. This was one of my top experiences! I knew after that moment what my purpose was: to reach a bigger audience for Christ.

I found my calling or rather, God was calling me for bigger Kingdom work. I started to seek Him earnestly, and He started downloading visions and ideas that included workshops and coaching plans. Then I started speaking and knew this is what I was meant to do.

Today, I GET to help women heal, reclaim their identity, and rediscover their God-given purpose so they can live in joy and know that their stories can be used for good.

I get to teach that Jesus died on the cross so that we could live a life of redemption and grace. He did that for me and every person on this earth. His love is never-ending.
